What makes a good Counter-Strike player? And who do you believe is the best Counter-Strike player?

Aim/skill/TP/tactics, and I dont know who the best player is, since it dosent exist a player who got Heaton aim, Potti skill, Hyb TP and vesslan tactics

Well what I believe makes a good Counter-Strike player is his passion for the game like in every other sport or game. If you spend alot of time on the game and have a true passion for it everyone can get good. In my opinion Heaton and Medion are two of the best players in the world. I also think Kim and Miller from X3 were really good.

A good Counter-Strike player have patience and skill combined in a good way. And most important I think is the ability to read the game. It is almost impossible to say "who is the best Counter-Strike player" since there are different ways of playing the game, different "styles". Its like asking: "who is the best hockey player", "well you mean goalie or forward?". But a player that combines all the major factors in Counter-Strike I would have to say Medion in NiP. He is one of the greatest players I have ever had the opportunity to play with. There are probably many good players out there but I have atleast played and watched this guy play alot. Infact I am very impressed of the skill in whole NiP and the way they adjust to each other. That is what I think makes the team so good, the mix of players/style are really good.

Of course you need aim and teamplay to become a good Counter-Strike player. A public fragger is not what I call a good Counter-Strike player. You need to be able to fit into a team and act fast in certain situations. There are many good CS players, but I think the best one is HeatoN, because of his incredible aim and reflexes.

Know the maps, tactics and read the game... Everyone can shoot a guy in the head... it is just a simple matter of moving your mouse on an object, just like clicking on icons in windows (nice practice I promise ;P). All players in NiP could be the 'best', but if I had to pick one I would say HeatoN, he is the one who can just do the most unbelievable things.

I think it is the aim, some teamplay and the ability to read the game mixed together. But mostly the aim. The best Counter-Strike player I have ever played with is absolutely Potti. He is the perfect player in my oppinion.
